The new Abbeville Library -- in Legos

Tyler Rauton, one of our young patrons at the Abbeville Library, put his lego skills to work and created his version of our new building.  It has a circulation desk, stacks for the books, a computer area, and yes, even restrooms.  Too cool!  (The life-size building will be done and we'll be in by Christmas.  Can't wait!)

Just one of the reasons that summer reading is so important

Watch the video below as Brian Williams from NBC News explains the ways that children can fall behind if they don't read during the summer.  Remember, kids of all ages (and you adults, too!) can join the Summer Reading Programs at the library and read all summer long! Sign-ups for kids begin Wednesday, June 13.
