Novel Destinations

The adult summer reading challenge is here! Pick up a brochure at any branch of the library system and start reading. Finish 10 challenges before the end of the summer to win a fun prize!

What else is new? These new titles:

Death Toll by Jim Kelly

"Kelly demonstarates his mastery at creating a convoluted puzzle that must be sorted out by even more complicated detectives. An excellent choice for fans of British police procedurals and 'locked-room' mysteries" (Library Journal).

Disturbance by Jan Burke

"Burke weaves a compelling tale, delivered at a fast-paced clip. The suspense is high and the characters complex" (USA Today).

Fallen by Karin Slaughter

"Move over, Catherine Coulter -- Slaughter may be today's top female suspense writer" (Library Journal).

Watch Me Die by Erica Spindler

"One woman's journey to recovery becomes her worst nightmare . . ."

Smokin Seventeen by Janet Evanovich

The latest exploits of New Jersey's favorite bounty hunter, Stephanie Plum

The Dog who Came in from the Cold by Alexander McCall Smith

"McCall Smith specializes in subplots that punctuate the book like polka dots, relying on his considerable literary skills to link them into a merry pattern of human events" (The Washington Times).

Silver Girl by Elin Hilderbrand

Hilderbrand "captures island life and all the intrigue that occurs when people live so closely together, surrounded by water. And her characters are so real -- you will love them, curse them, but most important, recognize them" (Glamour.com).
